Today we confirmed the proceeds from the sale of the house was deposited in our bank account exactly on the date that Stephen predicted almost three months ago. And, again we truly confirmed that we made the right choice in selecting the agent for our house.
Fall 2007 was the start of the most difficult real estate market condition in many years. We did not make our decision until August. We were very curious how the house could possibly get sold. Then, we sow a beautiful advertisement of our house and could not believe when we started go get some offers within the moth. However, this was just a beginning of the effort that Stephen and his team started to make for the very complicated and difficult transactions in completing the sale.
During the process of going through with the sale, how many times did Mina and I almost gave up with the deal? But, Stephen and his team were very careful in not disrupting the continuation of the negotiations. And, they put in so much of their own time and effort in meeting the requests made by the buyer in terms of getting the 20 years old house in near perfect condition. While escrow was open, Mina and I had so many of pre-planned travel commitments and if not for Stephen's effort to get all the repair work done and inspectors come in short notices, the transaction would never have been completed.
